The Tomb Of Aşıklı Sultan

The tomb which  has no document or inscription about has the characteristik of the period of Selçuklu in terms of architecture properties.
These Tomb which were built  in the shape of domes were build for the upper level  statesmen or commanders.




The information’s about Aşıklı Sultan on rumor.There are five empty coffins in the first floor of the two  floored tomb.
In the first empty coffin there is a şehit whose name is unknown
In the second Mağripli Mehmed Ağa
Third one belongs to Aşıklı Sultan.
The fourth and fifth empty coffins’ owners are still unknown
Aşıklı Sultan is a Turkish commander who came for getting back Kastamonu from Bizans. And people think that he died for islam.
